I saw no mention of refurbished anywhere in the listing. The normal Cuisinart warranty is 3 years, but that is for direct sales and through authorized resellers. So it seems that it is new, but not an authorized reseller.

Can't speak to the seller or whether or not this is a refurb, or the warranty, but the Cuisinart 14 cup food processor is a beast. For home use, I feel it's the best one can buy and I've gone thru a few other brands. Can you buy a better commercial use food processor? Sure. Robot coup makes the best one imo but you're looking at thousands and a large ugly appliance. America's Test Kitchen constantly rates the Cuisinart 14 cup and the best home food processor. Mine does high hydration dough with ease. At this price (if everything is legit) I'm pretty jealous.
