I just took it apart earlier today and ripped the speaker out of it lol Now all is good. There are only 4 screws once you take the board off.

I have one of these, not this branded one but there are a ton on Amazon of literally the same exact feeder, just different name. Personally, I would highly recommend looking for one that has a sensor to tell you when the food level drops low. Unless you're good to remember to just refill it once a week or something, no matter how full it is.

Your ignorance and attempt at being offensive is excused. The point of getting such a large sized feeder is to go less often of having to refill. It has nothing to do with forgetting or reminding.

maybe they shouldn't own an automatic feeder, having a pet and a routine of feeding it daily (or multiple times a day) is not the same as filling a canister every week or so. I've got an auto-feeder like this and it's great, especially for going away but over the past couple of years, there has been twice that it ran out and my poor kitties had to skip breakfast.

I spend a bit more ($7) to go with the double bowl option as me and my wife both thought it would be better since we have two cats and they like having two plates but still eat off of one at a time... As far as the people saying you don't need a reminder to feed them, well, you are correct, but I look at is as more of a reminder of what time it is, I feed our cats twice a day, once in the AM and once at night, and occasionally top it off in the afternoon if they have been extra hungry. I have apps that remind me to take my medicine, so how is that any different from being reminded to feed the animals?

In all fairness, Amazon has changed how coupon codes are applied, they used to be on the checkout screen, now you have to go to payments from the checkout screen and enter the code, then hit use this payment method, annoying, yes, hard to do? Not at all, but if you were used to the old system, then it might take a bit more to figure out.

I could see these being useful to feed your dog like 20 min before you get home. Seems cool. I just don't know how much use of it I'd get with dogs. Perfect for cats though
