For me, this is a homemade garlic butter ingredient, in addition to cooking. Another example, with shrimp I use Tony's Creole seasoning, which already is salty. So garlic powder does not add more salt.
This is just like comparing Onion powder vs. Onion salt.
I mean this is not tricky. It is more useful than garlic salt. You can always add salt, but you can't remove it from garlic salt, another powder. Maybe you mean you always chop or mince your garlic and don't know how Garlic powder or Garlic salt make sense? Great shortcuts. You can sub this for garlic. Easy to Google how to do so.

I typically stir in my salt and pepper. I bet this would probably work fine if the spreading technique is done properly, such as with your fingers.
I gave you valid suggestions. I do not sprinkle Onion powder on my food and have never tried sprinkling Garlic powder on something as a dry seasoning. I use these in recipes. You asked about recipes. Make up your mind.
The product label shows "Region of Origin: North America" but this appears to refer to packaging location rather than where the garlic itself was grown. For the most accurate origin information, you can check the product packaging details when it arrives."

Edit: misleading price in post too. The only way to get this is to subscribe and save, which is not a sale but the regular discount. You only get 5% off instead of the usual 15% off s&s. You have to buy 4 of these to get 15% total off - 10% off 4.
