Good deal but note that it does not have a hammer-only setting for chisels... only hammer drill or drill. There's that 3rd setting that more expensive ones have.

The 1" Ryobi SDS has hammer only mode and is excellent. When I got it, I wasnt sure I would use it and now it is close to the most used Ryobi tool I own.

Definitely get the 3 mode version. I have used all modes for various jobs.
If you don't need all 3 modes , someday you will and wished you had the 3rd mode.

SDS (slotted drive system) is not a regular chuck, and designed for hammer-type work. You won't be able to use regular drill bits with it, and would have to spend extra and buy SDS drill bits.
If you just need a drill - it was only $35 last BF, so why spending more...

I had this. It's weaker than the $40 Ryobi Hammer Drill that's floating around in another thread. Do not recommend.
