Those who really want it grab one but the price point for 3-4 year old hardware isn't a great deal, holding out for a refurb would be your best bet

That's fair, but my guess is it won't be till 2028 that Valve releases a new Steam Deck sadly.

I already have a Steam Deck but I am tempted to get the new OLED just in case my old one craps out and they don't have the parts to repair it.
If anyone is on the fence, I love my OG Steam Deck: 10/10, would recommend.

Reminds me of the people saying "just wait for the Switch 2"....in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.....finally they have it Wink

Might be 'old hardware,' but is top model regardless. And IMO the SD is miles beyond any other handheld even if 1-2 are (on paper) more powerful.
