I'm sorry, but if this doesn't look like 💩 on top...

Haven't tried these yet but I haven't been a huge fan of how Reeces have changed over the years... They just don't taste the same to me anymore.

That's bc the recipe was drastically changed. Even the grandson of the Reese's inventor blasted Hershey's for the change to much cheaper ingredients. They now use less cocoa and they no longer use peanut butter. Now it's "peanut creme" whatever that is. They can't even call it milk chocolate anymore.

I don't like them anymore, either. The filling is so gritty now to the point it barely resembles peanut butter, and the chocolate tastes and feels so cheap now too.

It's such a shame that so many companies have changed their recipes for such nostalgic products. The only people that enjoy them now are the younger folks who never had the better, higher quality stuff many years ago so they don't know better.

You can make much better chocolate peanut butter cups yourself from real ingredients for a cheaper than these new knockoffs.

Glad to know it's not just me but yeah that's disappointing on several levels. I know there's issues with cocoa/chocolate and limited supply and rising costs so a lot of the candy companies are releasing alternate "unique" options to distract from the chocolate varieties. But also it seems it's just a lot of good old fashioned corporate greed as well, cheaping out of ingredients to make more money. Such a shame.
