Seriously though, I would consider replacing. Is yours plastic?

A lot of research has been done since 2010 about the effects of microplastic consumption, and surely a metal shaker ball scraping against and chipping away at the plastic walls of these things can't be conducive to good health.

For someone like you that takes care of your items and uses them long-term, I would consider getting a stainless steel one. Actually, I'd recommend one of those to everyone. haha

Bought a 4 pack of different colors last month, great bottles, don't leak, and they left an actual hand-written note saying thank you for the purchase. Only wish there was a place to clip a carabiner. I already have 4 now but am greatly tempted to buy another 4 at this price.

Hopefully these are not a scam... tough criteria for sd in 2026. replace ur old bottles btw gym friends. learned recently they "expire" after a few years

They just put an expiration date on everything. I've been using the same Smart Shaker bottle since 2010. Not sure if I would buy into having an expired bottle, but I'm getting 8 of these to handout at my gym to those that don't have one.

I've been drinking Huel for a little while now. Their bottle is rather neat. There is a fixed grate in there. When you shake it the liquid and powder is forced through the grate. You don't end up with one of those metal balls filled with wet powder.

Blender bottle has one. They go for around $20 at walmart but I've seen them cheaper at Marshalls
