  • Three knife cutter head delivers 30% longer knife life and makes knife change faster and easier
  • Two-speed gear box allows users to change feed speed to optimizing cuts per inch at 96 or 179 CPI
  • Fan-assisted chip ejection vacuums chip off of the cutter head and exhausts them out of the machine
  • 19-3/4 in. cast aluminum base is 2 times more rigid than a standard 10 in. base and folding tables
  • Automatic carriage lock reduces the movement that causes snipe without the need for manual engagement by the user
  • Material removal gauge and extra large thickness scale deliver accurate cuts with every pass

The 10% cash back was the kicker I needed. $522 is a good deal. That puts it lower than the Wen PL1337 which I've been watching as well. I own both Wen and Dewalt products, so I know the Dewalt will be better, even with the straight blades. it's just a in different class of products.

The cash back doesn't usually show during checkout. You have to wait for it to be applied to your account as a credit.

Anyone ever have issues with this tool tripping the circuit breaker on a 15 amp circuit? I know this is a 15 amp tool, but I understand that during startup it draws more amperage than just 15 amps. Very tempted to snag one of these. It's the last big tool currently on my wish list.
