I'd give the set a 3.5/5 review after a year of light use (~5 trips). Not top-end luggage: handle quality, wheels/control, scratch resistance are all average. They are roomy, if you like the clamshell design. I personally think this is a nice looking set, particularly the navy & gray combo. I would buy this set again at this price (though maybe not at what I previously paid).
One question for the group, since this is a popular luggage set: has anyone had pushback from airlines on the size of the carryon? With handles and wheels, the carryon is approx 1" above typical carryon size limits in all directions. I personally have flown 4-5 times without any problems, but I'm curious if discount airlines would be more strict.
