Who is upvoting this? Have people forgotten that Cyborg is bottom-of-the-barrel gaming laptop and lineup of MSI. The display is 250-300 nits 45% NTSC, the 5060 is only 55W MGP, a meagre 55 Whr battery, and subpar build quality. This screams subpar. We have had better deals on 5060 gaming laptops both, new and Refurb/open box, in the past month or so, not even that long ago:

Thank you for posting actual examples.
I'm sick of people shredding deals and nitpicking them without backing any claim up other than "8g ram is trash, i5 is straight dumpster, etc", then go on to say what you need, and it ends up being a laptop $1000 more expensive than the deal. Like no kidding I would hope spending $1000 more would get you a better machine but what can you get which is comparable at this specific price.

Considering the hardware crisis.. why is everyone talking smack on this deal, staying under $700 as a PC gaming entry, very doable.

Because of the low TGP of the GPU this laptop is not worth it, on top of the other problems it has like it's very terrible display. For example a Full powered RTX 5050 Laptop would outperform this rtx 5060, and the 5050 has the same amount of Vram. You can find RTX 5050 laptops with a full powered GPU around this price like the Lenovo LOQ which is way better quality, and will have better performance and way better display
The refurbished Acer Nitro with the rtx 5050 posted today is a better deal, has a 2 year warranty and will perform significantly better.
I bought a refurbished Acer laptop and it was like brand new
