I don't understand the pricing of this type ramen. Another post is $4 for a dozen. Why such difference? Just flavor?

The ingredients are more expensive. Seafood is only one of two flavors that features real meat. Shrimp is the other one. Chicken has no meat at all while Beef has imitation meat made of soy. This has pieces of calamari/squid, egg and imitation crab (surimi, made from fish).

It's also hard to find in America, which inflates the price due to supply and demand. That also explains why my favorite flavor, Lime Shrimp, is usually more expensive.

What's wrong with surimi? It may be imitation crab, but it's made from real fish. I love it and eat surimi sticks like candy. This Seafood flavor also has pieces of calamari and egg.
