I got this one when Costco was selling the 3-pack bundle (8", 10", 12") for about $50.

I think 11" really is the sweet spot but I still love this thing. Stainless is the way to go for pans that you use frequently.

I use mine at least once every couple of days and its been holding up well after about 6months of use. I really like it since it's so durable and easy to clean with a bit of elbow grease.

I have noticed that there are cosmetic scratches in the pan and I only use silicone or wood utensils. Maybe it's from my scrubbing pads? Regardless, they are only cosmetic and don't affect use.

No baby, your pan size is perfect. Those other much bigger pans never fit where I tried to store them, and they made my arm and my back hurt whenever I used them. Sure I could and did do everything in the kitchen with them, but I much prefer seeing your cute little pan stored neatly up on the shelf.

I'm a former catering chef and here's the secret for hard surface pans:

https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Bri...ref=sr_1_6

The large ribbons will not scratch the pan (or any surface really) with light to medium pressure. They'll take off carbon and caramelization stains with just a little dish soap and keep things looking new. We used to keep cases of these for our sauce pans because they would tend to superheat on the sides from our large stove burners. Works like a charm.

BTW- these pads (or any similar) also work great on Hexclad pans if you want to keep them clean! These are NOT steel wool. Don't use that on your pans.

This is a decent stainless steel pan for the price.

On any pans you get, you want to make sure it has a "plate" on the bottom. This plate is typically made of aluminum, but higher-end pans can have an aluminum/copper layered plate. This plate serves two purposes:

- It absorbs heat from your burner, giving your pan even heat distribution.
- It gives structural integrity, preventing your pan from warping when cold liquids are introduced.

Avoid pots and pans that don't have this plate if you want something long-term.

Maybe if you hadn't gone through so many pans before hand... maybe you would have thought 10" was huge and not cute and little...
