I have this, and this is how much I paid for it. AFAIK it was not under a "deal" at the time and this was the normal price. It works well. Can be powered by just one USB-C used for video if your computer/port supports it. Otherwise you may have to run a second USB-C for power. It also has an HDMI input.

I know the nits are low and people will say "useless" but my actual usecase for this is working outside and I am completely fine. If it's really bright I will wear polarized sunglasses but honestly there is not much of an issue at all.

This one is available for $40. AOC is better name, but any other reason to buy this one?

I picked this up last time it was on sale. I have no complaints. I use it for cleaning up older machines and installing Linux and such. It also works quite well on my retro emulator mini pc running batocera. It's plenty bright enough for me and the colors look great.

This thing is garbage. Check all the recent reviews. Stops working fast "no input" error.

thanks HenryT
I bought 2 of the 40 dollar ones ... (for 85 dollars total with tax) . Should come thursday.
(my comments are just about the portable that henryT linked to, not to confuse you guys)
I saw the amazon users reviews, about 6 or more video reviews.
I like the built in stand for it.
I will say this, concerning all these portables, be very careful when you travel with any of them, including the ones that come with encluded cases (some of them have). This one has no case. If you look at some of the ones that come with case, the screens broke. So big WARNING on traveling with any brand portable. Maybe others can share if they have great way to travel with them, but, ... you are WARNED! I would hate for YOU to be a bad teaching moment ... "crap ... I just took it to cafe, and when I opened the laptop backpack the portible screen cracked." ...
I have some models that use the case as also a stand, and I couldn't get them to work right. I like the models that have a stand like this in the 40 dollar model... that Henry ... linked to.
I use it for my mac mini m4, I use my 55 inch 4k as main screen with 2 portables using these 15 inch portables (different brands). I might put a voice recorder on one screen, and other for security cams, and main PC for movies, tv shows, or other stuff.
p.s. I have a couple of IPAD stands about 10 dollars a piece from amazon. I see sales of the stands all the time on slickdeals. So you have choice between the built-in stand or IPAD stand.

Like it doesn't turn on at all? Or the screen is broken?

Ordered this at bedtime last night and checked on the order this morning. Price had dropped to $29.99 as of this posting. I was still able to cancel the 1st one and reorder minutes ago. Price difference should more than cover the cost of 'missing' hdmi cable (which I had assumed was included) - it's not according to reviews.
