I've had this same model for a few years. Without fail it will spark at the plug every single time it's gets plugged in.

these are handy if you have those little usb powered led lights for kids and stuff like that, having a different plug for multiple usb things is a pain. being able to plug 2 or 3 into one outlet is nice

People think we're joking about electrical fires. I had one of these cheap random-letter brand ones that sparked a lot, then stopped working. I was lucky that it didn't break anything or start a fire by shorting. I'll be smarter in the future.

Choose Baseus or some actual brand like that if you want cheapness.
