I use these to augment my EcoFlow power stations through the PS's XT60i connection and I charge these from solar panels through a charge controller.

Wow these just keep getting cheaper and cheaper..

April 2024 paid $466 for a 300Ah
October 2024 paid $326 for a 300Ah

The price is now $260 but the code CD35US gives $35 off but it ends up the same - $225. They seem to mysteriously make back $10, however, with "additional" charges, which are supposedly tax but my tax is 8% and $260 x .08 = $20.06 but the additional charges are $30.36

Just bought a sump pump inverter/backup. Would this be a good battery to use rather than a marine battery?

Can anyone please explain to me how one uses this? I have an Ecoflow Invertor that will accept solar input, and from what I've read, people use something like this between their solar panel and the inverter to charge the whole-home-batteries.

But...it's a battery, being used to charge another battery...which makes me confused lol.

I have an off grid cabin that we aren't there for months at a time. It gets really cold (below 0F) in the winter and really hot I'm the summer (90+F). Would this be safe to use for that situation? We have a solar setup with an inverter. Thanks for the info!

Do you have an Ecoflow power station?
Videos from folks like @TheOldJarhead or @WillProwse will help you safely get a lot figured out.
But for the most part, you can either:
1. get a charge controller. Wire your system up SOLAR PANEL --> CHARGE CONTROLLER --> 12V BATTERY ---> ECOFLOW POWERSTATION. This would have your solar panel charge the 12v battery, which would keep your powerstation charged. The 12v battery can connect to the power station either through the solar input, or the 12V car input (typically).

2. get a charge controller with a load output. Ecoflow powerstation gets wired up as a load rather than in-line from the 12V battery. This way, the ecoflow will charge when there's excess solar power available (if the 12V is full), and will charge from the 12V battery (when no solar present, or if the charge controller settings have the load enabled).

3. Skip the charge controller and charge the 12V battery with an AC adapter from your ecoflow's 120V output. This is much less efficient and you'll also have to manually swap the 12V from being charged to charging the ecoflow. Less expensive up front, but not as recommended.

Keep getting the error "For security reasons your request can't currently be processed" for any of the coupon codes when trying PayPal, Google Pay, and Credit Card payment methods. Frustrating.

So in the winter, they would stop charging to prevent any damage to the cell"Low-Temperature Protection] This 12V lithium battery features a 200A BMS with multiple protections, including low-temperature protection. Charging stops below 19.4°F (-7°C) and resumes above 32°F (0°C), while discharging halts below -4°F (-20°C) to prevent damage, ensuring stability in harsh conditions"In the summer, you would be fine

So one would buy two of these whole-house backup ($450) + an inverter (~$900) + other electrical supplies ($100-200). Wouldn't an integrated whole-house backup system like the EcoFlow Delta Pro cost about the same (~$1500), and would it come with no DIY complexity or risk?

Victron has the best on the market, imho. You pay the premium, tho.

Something like this [amazon.com] works well and is reasonably priced. Of course depends on your solar panels.

You can monitor close-up via Bluetooth. As your monitoring desires get more and more demanding, fulfilling them gets more expensive or complex. The SmartSolar MPPT's do not have wireless functionality built in.
