Design is terrible. Cleaning this is a mess. Much better options out there with less moving pieces

I had one of these before and it didnt do a good job. Kept having to move the chopped garlic off the lid down to the blades. Total pain to clean. Then my dishwasher warped it. Just buy a garlic press.

Always wanted to try out the larger model. I purchased the smaller version 3 years ago around the same price. But don't take it out for just one garlic clove. Yes, it is a pain to clean (and be careful as the blades are very sharp) but does a decent job of chopping up a bunch of garlic. I seal the final results in a jar and have been surprised how well it keeps in the frig. So I don't have to clean it too often and I always have some chopped-up garlic available.

Wouldn't recommend this. I got one of these, and it was junk.
Poor design but my biggest gripe was how it difficult it was to clean.
