Heads up for anyone getting this — the RAM ships running at JEDEC default 4800 MT/s, NOT the advertised DDR5 6000. You need to go into BIOS and enable EXPO to get your full memory speed.
How to fix it:
Restart and mash Delete to enter BIOS
In EZ Mode, find the Memory section and switch from "Standard" to "EXPO1"
While you're in there, verify Re-Size BAR is enabled (mine was already on — Advanced F7 → PCIe Subsystem Settings)
F10 to save and exit
Confirm in Task Manager → Performance → Memory that it now shows 6000 MT/s
This is standard for all motherboards (they ship at safe defaults), but figured some people might not know they're leaving free performance on the table. Takes 30 seconds in BIOS.

Regarding 9900x vs 9900x3D CPU just keep in mind that most FPS benefit is at lower resolution. At 4K, it is less impactful since the GPU is doing the heavier lifting. If you need insane FPS as a pro gamer running at lower resolution, maybe the x3D is more compelling.
Long term, the ~5C to 10C elevated temp on the x3D variant may not be worth the risk/benefit, rather play safe and ensure the CPU can run at cooler temps - hence OK with simply having the 9900x CPU for the longevity.
Is there a way to tell from the box if it has the newer MB or do you run a program like speccy to get the details when it's up and running?
I think to make up for the better Mobo they swapped the AIO for a slightly cheaper one
