You are very right. I checked, even if you bought at MicroCenter. Just the NVIDIA 5080 GPU and CPU/MB/RAM bundle are $2300.
That leaves out the NVME, PSU, Case, cooling system, and Windows license.
What an awful time to be in the market.

This was $500 off last Black Friday/Christmas 2025, and with the ram shortage prices, it's still a great deal! Machine screams, will play anything, and is quiet. Def a Slick Deal. Also, if you bought within past 30-days, Costco has a price match adjustment option.
