Only one HD out of 10 have this price in my regional area so it's out there. Pretty good deal... too bad I'm not in the Ryobi battery ecosystem (already have Dewalt and Milwaukee)

no longer any reason to be locked-in to a particular power-tool manufacturer with these $10 dewalt to ryobi adapters for example..

toucher/touché! ok so maybe Ryobi isn't the best example as their 18V batteries got that signature hideous hump hurdle/pole in the middle, but visualize no pole for the others like Dewalt 18V or 20V battery to Milwaukee tool (or Makita or Ridgid or Bauer or Black & Decker or Porter Cable.. or any combo thereof)
