they're insanely salty though. beef jerky doesnt need to be that salty. also it's not real beef jerky, you need to refrigerate it after opening.

One stick is 410 mg sodium, 18% of daily value. It could be much worse. And these are individually packaged sticks so unless one whole less-than-1-oz. stick is too much for you, no refrigeration is involved. I like having these in the pantry for just that reason.
