Community Reviews

This unrated Road Trip trilogy DVD set is mainly a nostalgia play for raunchy early 2000s comedies, with Eurotrip standing out as the best and funniest entry. The uncensored cut adds more raunchy humor and nudity, and the set even gets framed as an easy Easter basket gift. The main drawback is the DVD presentation itself, which is described as very blurry 480p rather than anything close to 4K. It is a cheap pick if you want the movies on disc and do not need modern video quality.

Being uncensored, you will see more nipples.

Eurotrip was the best of the bunch and needs a 4K upgrade. Didn't even know there was a 3rd one…must have slipped under the radar like the 3rd I Know What You Did Last Summer movie (not counting the 2025 release).

Whats the correlation between Eurotrip and roadtrip? Can I pair back to the future 1+2 with the first terminator movie and call it a trilogy now?
If it was made by the same team of people and if one inspired the other sure.

Basically Roadtrip did well and the studio then went on to make Eurotrip which didn't do exceptionally well at the box office, but became a cult classic and was totally the better movie. Both are Dreamworks movies, the success of the first caused them to make the second. So It could be debated they might be set in the same Universe.

They should have made more Eurotrips, IMO.

Eurotrip is one of the best "dumb" comedies ever made! It's still very funny after all those years. I rewatch it every few years especially before trips to Europe!

Not sure what I would do with the DVD these days but if someone did not see it highly recommended.

I think it was actually Matt Damon who argued that it was the death of the physical home video that caused this. Studios used to bet on making some money back on VHS then DVD sales. Since that's no longer the case they don't gamble on medium budget one-off comedies that typically attract a small theater audience. Now everything has to either be low budget or a high budget guaranteed blockbuster/IP investment.
