i did a sample run and the amount is crazy. i don't think i know of a single person that parks in the airport for several days of travel unless you're very rich or it's paid for by business trip.

A few month back, i booked to park at LAX for 12 days in coming July for $190 (after discount). It's still cheaper than taking uber rountrip. plus my flight is very early morning.

Thanks. Just booked pre-paid parking, $90 to park 9 days in economy parking. Uber/Lyft would be at least $90 each way.

California airport parking would suck the blood out of your dead body if they could. The rates are insulting.

I parked at the LAX economy lot for an 8-day trip and it was cheaper and more convenient than a round-trip uber from far-east side of LA (Diamond Bar area). Even without a coupon code, it was $118

I loathed LAX until I started using the Green Line metro (or, I suppose, any Metro line that connects to LAX Metro Center). It's under $2 each way, the metro drops me off at LAX Metro, and the bus takes you to your gate. From Norwalk Metro Green Line station, it's about 50 minutes to the airport terminal. Honestly, if your trip is during supported hours and you have a metro station that someone can drop you off at, it's ridiculous to deal with parking at LAX. There's elevators at the Metro stations for those who are dragging luggage along.

They always have some kind of special discount. The economy parking garage has the best prices imo. If you have a plug in, there's plenty of parking available on the first floor. Also, the bus that takes passengers to the terminals come every 5-10 minutes. Very convenient and totally worth it.

I parked last week for avg about $25/day at terminal one. It seems like booking about a week out yields the best start rates. It was about $100 and then a code knocked it down to $75 for 3 days. That's well worth not having to battle for shuttles or go to the Uber/Lyft lot. If it was any longer, I would opt for a more economical option.

Your sample sounds poor.

Coupon codes are always available year round, never book without checking for newest code (can easily find on Reddit). I typically park off airport cheapest pricing. This last month somehow I was able to park in terminal for $135 for a week! Traveling with kids this was the best experience and understand why some people are ok paying a premium to park.

The website sucks, but the deals are good! Just booked 4 days in June for $77.24 after code. Uber would have been at least $120 RT to South Bay.

I've never booked directly from lax like this, I usually use airportparkingreservations with a coupon usually 7 or 10 but this economy parking + coupon makes it the same if not better price.

I picked "Covered parking available" as an option for Economy parking, does anyone know what that means?

Does it mean there's some covered parking and you probably won't get it? Where is this Economy parking located?
