What's the use case? It's interesting. Keyboard macros?
Apparently, it doesn't bind correctly without multiple third party tools (ReWASD, joy2key), so a lot of users in the disabledgamers subreddit gave up on it in favor of the Xbox adaptive controller, which works natively.
It's also a pretty awkward layout for macros.
Maybe it would work for video editing or as a synth instrument.

Yeah, supposedly it uses a proprietary protocol that isn't compatible with the dual sense controller either. So you can't even use something like a Cronus Max to make it work with PC/Xbox. Sony designed it specifically for PS5 only, which is on par for a walled off platform that does everything they can to not let you out.
It's probably why people aren't buying this controller and it keeps dropping in price. Let alone the sh*tty seller!

A quick Google search will tell you exactly what this controller is for. The amount of people who just refuse to find answers for themselves is ridiculous.

I skimmed around back when it was on sale for $33 and it looked really convoluted even when people were able to get it to work.
The HID mapping is saved to the controller itself in different profiles, so you have to set that up first. This requires either an actual PS5 or a web tool called PlayStation access controller profile editor, which is where people were getting stuck. If you get past this, it should work in Steam, joy2key, etc.

A custom build of DS4Windows might also work: https://github.com/TRARS/CustomMacroExte
Just make sure to buy a second controller if you want to also use it for PS5, as swapping back and forth can reset your configuration.
