I wonder if they'll get mad at me for setting this up around my desk at Union Pacific 🤔

I got a Lionel train this past holiday season to put around the Christmas tree - not this exact one, but same size and similar. Just be forewarned if you have little kids or pets, the train gets fairly easily derailed. It's not a big deal but I have had to caution our toddler to not touch it. Other than that it's been pretty great!

Got a Lionel Thomas Bluetooth train for the kids just for Christmas time after about 3 seasons the Bluetooth board went out and it was over $100 to replace. I would not spend the $ on one of these again

All I'm sayin' is that if you're buying this to install along the wall 18" down from the ceiling to run from the kitchen to the home theater located on the other side of the house and back...you're gonna need more track.

This is a larger scale than most. Bigger isn't necessarily better, though - you can't fit as much stuff in a given space with larger scales. If you don't have a lot of space, you'd probably be better off with smaller HO or N scale. But if you have plenty of space, or you just want a train to go around the Christmas tree or something, this might be a good choice.

Not exactly true. This runs on O gauge but it's not O scale, but a smaller engine.

Long story short, it can navigate very tight turns, such as O27 - a 27 inch diameter circle.
Some HO or N layouts use that diameter.
