Discount applies to black as well, ends up being a dollar more, but no ship date yet if you're not in a hurry.

Thought this Amazon review was fair and helpful:

I was a bit skeptical that the charger could hold down 100 watts on the USB-C for a sustained period of time so I drained my MacBook Pro down to 20% and let it charge it all the way up. It was able to connect at 100 W and was able to sustain it up until the computer was 75% charged at which point it dropped, but I believe that is because of the computer gearing down. Thus, I am impressed by the performance. That said, it got super hot. It was around 130 degrees F on the sides and my laser thermometer got up to 157 degrees F on the lower USB-A ports at the back of the charger. It does emit a bit of a chemical smell (this is the first time I am using it) that is likely due to it being new and also me pushing it to the limits. Overall, I am impressed by the charging speed. The fact that it can actually do the 100 watts at this price make it an excellent value for the money. Thus, overall, I recommend. The only reason I don't give it that last star is because it got so hot and I did smell odd smells for it, but still impressed overall.

The folding mechanism is usually the first thing to fail.

I bought it last time for same price, not bad for $10.
Faster than the bricks that come with the phone, but it wont pump 140W

That video is pretty lame. As a PD charger it has a single port max (on the C port) of 20v at 5 amps. To test, it is preferable to trigger to 20v and draw the 5amp max with a load, and then see how long before overheating forces it to drop the voltage (for a cheap charger it is either that or self-melt).

Check out allthingsoneplace for quality reviews of tons of chargers. I'm not sure he has tested this one though.

There's no way they are making a 100+ W power supply and are making any money with a retail price of $10 each, without MAJOR cost cutting on things like the magnetics, isolation, insulation, capacitors, and skipping 3rd party safety certification.

Stay the hell away from these, they are a major fire and electrocution risk since they lack any accessible safety certification documentation.

Even Chinese people don't buy chargers that are this cheap within China.

Would you feel better if they kept everything the same and just charged $30 each? At the end of the day a lot of these come from the same OEMs as the brand names.
