The ASUS 16" Vivobook 16 Laptop Copilot+ PC (Cool Silver) has 16 GB of built-in RAM. And it has a slot that can have up to 24 GB of RAM, making the total RAM up to 40 GB per Rob K Staff at BH.

I just bought an "open box" Vivobook 15 with ddr4 RAM. If I knew, I would not do it. I would buy brand new instead. "Open box" could be worst than refurbished. In my case, why would someone disabled some devices in the laptop before returning to the store? Or there were devices errors. It does not make sense. The store just sold it as "open box". (And the seller has not responded to my return request)

Interesting - the RAM may be upgradeable, but the Hard drive is apparently not:
Storage Expansion
Fixed Storage / Cannot Be Upgraded

Mind you, I'm more worried about the fact that that means it's not replaceable if/when the drive fails... than I am about upgrading from 1TB in this market.

This is the first time I am hearing about a hard-wired SSD in a full-sized laptop. Disappointing if it is indeed true!

but it also says
"Storage Drive Type
1x 1 TB / M.2 NVMe SSD"

which means it is a M.2 NVMe SSD - meaning you should be able to pop it out and replace...

contradicting spec listing...
