I bought two of these on the last SD for $25 for a field office. You can use the stock firmware to mesh them together. They work great and I was completely happy for $25. Wi-Fi speeds at full internet connection no issues, no downtime. At this price you can create a mesh for your whole block.

Might grab a couple more for spares or to give away to people who ask me for help.

Thanks. I bought the ax1800 for $10 as an emergency spare. When my routers go out I'm forced to buy whatever my local wally world has on sale,(since I can't get on Slickdeals, because, duh, no router).

Last time it cost me an arm and a leg.

This is only the router portion. You still need the modem part. Depending on the modem, this can still be an improvement to your existing setup. You can have the modem router act only as the modem and this router could be better than whatever you have now. but you need to check with what you currently have.

This will not replace a modem.

Do you guys still remember linksys router deal last year (Linksys MX4300?)? It has 2G ram, but can run nothing on it.
