This is a good deal, but just wanted to clarify that these are not hand-made, likely just hand-finished, in order to sell at these more affordable price points. Most of the Japanese "big" brands are like this; Tojiro, Enso, Yaxell, Miyabi.

I have a premium Shun and while it's a nice knife it's not a handmade Japanese knife. I used to baby it then my wife left it in water in the sink overnight once and I was amazed to discover it didn't rust.

Note that 6" is shorter than the more common ~8" chef's knife and looks like it has a shorter heel. If you have big hands your knuckles might knock on the cutting board depending on how you cut. Perfect as a sandwich/prep knife though.
