The SD card reader on this device has slow read and write speeds, which are insufficient for handling UHS-II cards. If you frequently move large files, consider investing in a UHS-II 2 in 1 card reader (I can't recall the specific model number). This type of reader is more suitable for quick and infrequent file transfers.

I never even thought to look on my new laptop until I decided to transfer a file and looked all over for the SD slot that wasn't there.

I ended up returning it because this particular design cannot be plugged directly to a phone with a protective case. I got a similar model from Sabrent, also from a SD deal, which works great for all my use cases (PC, laptop, tablet, phone)
