My cat starts begging for food way too early in the morning. A programmable feeder might actually save my sleep.

I'm so impressed with those of you that had your cats on a schedule. I was letting mine free feed, which I've always done since I was a kid, but one cat has become pretty overweight. I noticed a few weeks ago she actually snores when she sleeps and I'm worried about her health if she doesn't slim down. So I got this - super easy set up! But after reading your comment, I'm worried her new diet is going to lead to her begging and my own loss of sleep lol

Don't worry too much — every cat is a little different when it comes to food habits. It's great that you're looking out for her health though, that already says a lot about you as a pet owner. Switching to scheduled feeding can take a little time for them to adjust, but most cats eventually get used to it. Just give it some time

May the odds ever be in your favor. Our auto-feeder (aka "The Buffet") is open most mornings and our cat still jumps up on my wife's stomach, meowing for breakfast ...every...single...morning. laugh out loud

ah and SAMHUG....the "No honey, we have Samsung at home" company. Big Grin

What's to stop your cat from knocking this thing over and eating all the kibbles?

As much as I don't care for making "smart" versions of everything, I would much rather manage scheduling the feeding on the WiFi enabled versions. Still a great deal if you need the dual version.
