The trend I've noticed with trendy running shoes nowadays (Hoka, on, etc) is to place the midsole very high, but doesn't anyone ever trip/roll their ankle, esp on uneven terrain? Sometimes when running you take a bad step, having the heel sit so high surely increases the risk of hurting your ankle and falling?

I ordered these a couple weeks ago, they're some of my favorite shoes! Check out reviews on RunRepeat, the Ride's were rated very good.

I got this in wide. Unfortunately I found the counter too stiff, hurting my heel. I am returning it.

I like Triumph better after trying this out. The heel counter is too stiff.
