Unless you are putting something extremely overpowering in these or are very sensitive to salt/pepper, it's a non-issue.

I prefer a manual crank one personally, especially for cooking since it's easy to get a lot quickly. I've been using OXY Good Grips mills with a crank handle (not twist) and they've lasted years.

2 finger pinch = 1/4 tsp
3 finger pinch = 1/2 tsp
