For a few more bucks you can get the V6 which from what I can tell is basically the same but includes roll storage inside. It also comes with 2 rolls 8"x20' and 11"x20' which is probably worth the 5 extra bucks by itself.

I have another brand vacuum sealer that I love, it's got a lot of features.
The one thing I noticed when I do a bunch of sealing is the cheaper bags with smaller patterns on the one side do not work as well when the sealing surface is warm from doing multiple jobs. It tends to not allow the vacuum to build due to the bags closing up from the warmth.

I bought the foodsaver bags at Costco or Sam's and they are way better than the cheaper bags, especially if you plan on doing 10 or more double sealed bags.
That's just my experience.

The seller for that one looks a bit sketchy, only 12 ratings and less than a year in operation.

I purchased the Kirkland ones when on sale..... then nothing... but I recently noticed that they started to carry the Seal-a-meal ones again. Like within the last month of so.
The bags are on sale this month at Costco, I think around $25.

First time I saw a vacuum sealer without a cutter built in.

How exactly do you put the food in?
Do you load the food after the roll is installed, or do you have to cut the roll, insert the food, and then reload it into the machine?

From a video on the page:

Pull the bag roll through the cutter to desired length, use the built in cutter to cut the section off, use the sealer function to seal one end, insert food into other still open end, use the sealer and/or vacuum to seal the remaining open end.

This model or the V6 better? I need a replacement to my old Ziplock brand one that doesn't work well anymore. I assume this model is 2026 and the V6 is a 2025 model?
