Since this is cheaper than the WIFI version, is there any downside to having the LTE feature if you don't want to use it?

I've had one for a couple of months. At best you can go 2 days. I have not figured out what drains the battery - sometimes it lasts one day and sometimes it's closer to two and rarely nearly three. My Fitbit 5 lasted a week. Pixel 2 before that required a daily charge. I usually take it off before I shower, because of the warning about water resistance in the manual. The reason I mention this is that I'm wondering if wet skin drains the battery backward out of the charging contacts. I have not done a test to figure it out.

Battery drain also depends on your settings, and how much you use the WiFi or LTE (I have the LTE version). I've usually got my phone on me, so it's normally using BT for the connection. I also have Google Fi, so it's maybe the most optimum combination of plan and hordware.
