To each their own. I personally like this. As long as it is functional, might as well make it aesthetic. I personally hide my rigs in a specialized cabinet with strategic airflow and filtration in place. Nothing vulgar about 'high tech' rigs, but blending your tech in with the home environment is a different type of refinement.
