There may even be a rebate site that would drop this to $396

In no way is that watch worth $400. In no way. A replacement movement is not available.

Not only is that FALSE….IT CAN BE REPLACED. The likelihood of a Bulova Quartz movement failing is less than .5%. But thank you for the giggle.

This movement is 16 beats per second, so a sweeping second hand. Because it's Quartz, its accuracy is within 5 seconds per month. That's right, the most you would lose or gain is 1 minute per year.

Doesn't that also apply to a Timex?

I wish. Timex uses a much cheaper Quartz movement. But you can count on +/- 30 seconds a month or 6 minutes per year. The Bulova is considered an HPQ.

Do you even know what the movement is?
