The OS alone is about 20gb.
I think you will be much happier getting a Fire HD11 MAX tablet. That MAX seems to go along way...

Only thing I can see is video editing.. but with the os being such a pain to move data back and forth... Why bother.
Gaming ?! Serious question

Fun fact, iPadOS self-identifies as MacOSX in the system logs of web applications.
I have a lot of shade to throw at Apple. and im an Android fan...but I do love me an iPad and they're way better now than a few years ago
And high end Android tablets are coming out with 24GB of RAM. But HEY... I did say high end.

But you make it sound like WOW... 12GB of RAM, can't believe it.. Wow wow wow. But in reality, apple is way behind the eight ball with all their products. And high end tablets LIKE THIS ONE should have options to add more RAM... 24GB seems to be the new standard.. not 12GB.
Just FYI... ipads don't run all of Apple's apps... they only run Ipad OS apps. iPads cannot natively run macOS apps, as they use different operating systems (iPadOS vs. macOS) and file structures (.ipa vs. .app/.dmg).
