Not bad! They go for $90-$120 on ebay. Just got a blue one or $90 shipped. Ended up adding a $30 deep carry clip as this factory clip sticks out of pocket too much.

I have 2 mini grips, in drop point and sheeps foot, both in s30v, I bought them for around this price many years ago. Both came with uneven grinds, and non centered blades. Both were easily fixed issues, I re-sharpened both with a constant angle sharpener, and adjusted the pivot myself. But I don't run into these issues with comparable knives from other makes.

Why are you twisting reality to support a made up narrative? They helped destroy guns that were required to be destroyed. Can you not act crazy by pretending that means they "openly support violating your 2nd amendment rights"?
Destroying guns used in crime is clearly an anti gun act and not a good look for a company whose customers are mostly pro gun. Do they destroy knives used in crime?

Be EXTREMELY careful with Benchmades bought on eBay. The vast majority are Chinese counterfeits that cost $10-$20 being imported and resold. If nothing else: (1) Check the foam inside the packaging to see if it's a known fake foam. (2) Check the registered trademark symbol on the bottom-right corner of he butterfly logo. I should be very small. (3) Check the hardware. The pivot should be T10 and all the rest should be T6. (4) Make sure it's on washers, not bearings. If any of those 4 things are off, it's a counterfeit.

They used to be made in 154CM. So either Woot has very old stock, or they pulled an old spec sheet.

Maybe if you actually looked into it more than just a google ai overview, you'd understand there is more nuance to the action and their history of political support as a company. Politics aside, the guns may have been used in a crime or in a lot of these cases, buybacks or turned in from citizens for any host of reasons.

This is also Oregon Police, not exactly a very friendly department to 2A and historically, police departments AREN'T 2A friendly because they want to be the ones with control. 2A means equalizing the power and providing a way to prevent overreach and more extremely, tyranny. Not to mention, there is an entire industry for recycling or decommissioning firearms, it's utter bs they thought only benchmade can help them with this request, a knife company who has no business with firearms. It was an obvious stunt to bolster their anti-firearm stance period.

That is a waste of taxpayer's money in my opinion, to destroy something that is inert, but can easily be sold to the public for even a fraction of retail and still benefit the community with increased funds. "Can you not act crazy" yeah because blatant government overreach is crazy, get real. You're the type to bend over if the government came knocking on your door for a no warrant search and gladly welcome them in without cause. Hell, why don't you make them tea and biscuits while you at it?
