I can tell by looking at it it's gotten better. Since ridgid was a little or I should say a lot less expensive at the time I bought the original rigid half inch lithium impact and I had to return that. It had no power. The medium Milwaukee had more torque I learned because I immediately switched to Milwaukee's like I should have gotten in the first place. I have five Milwaukee impacts now and I'll never look back.
But this one looks a lot better. But what is this deal like maybe $10 off?

I have this and it works very well. It's not the power house some of the Makita and Milwaukees are, but it costs a lot less. So far it has removed every nut/bolt from my skid steer and mini-excavator that I've used it on.
