I read somewhere that 'hack' doesn't work anymore, as HD will blacklist you.

This is not hackable. Add the item to your cart. If it gets split into two separate items and the total cost is split up between the two items then it is hackable. If the item remains as one item then no hack is possible.

I feel this is commonly debunked. Fwiw, I just did a hack last week with no issues. Perhaps it's a ymmv.

They've recently done better deals with a free extra tool at very similar price to OP. I got the 3/8" ratchet w mine. Love the installation tool!

Returned literally thousands of $ in hacks over the past 4 months and haven't been blacklisted. My guess is either some stores are being overzealous or (more likely) those being banned for the hack are doing dumb stuff like buying 6 of a thing to resell after hacking
