I don't have one and I'm genuinely curious before I buy it, but can you use it like a hand tool when you need to apply more additional force than it can deliver to start or finish a bolt? Or would that break it?

You use this to crack the bolt loose first then hit the trigger to run it out

Nowhere near enough torque to break them on even a car. You'd have to break them loose first, then this could do the other 90% of removal once loose

Thanks for the reply. Son gave me a breaker bar for Christmas - that should work with this for effective removal!
