Idk how to tell yall. BUT DO NOT
EVER BUY ANY USED / OPEN BOX AirPods. 80% of them are scams and I have been scammed thru the AirPods Pros 3 thru EBay and BEST BUY. Best Buy initially didn't approve my refund and I had to argue with BEST BUY to get a refund as the IMEI on the AirPods was different than the box, as people buy new AirPods and swap them with fake ones. Trust me spend the extra $50-100 and get the real official brand new pair and save yourself a favor in the future.

I have had too many bad experiences with open-box AirPods. Not worth the $50 bucks you are saving over new ones.

I suspect they wouldn't have any of the features of the AirPods like noise cancellation and transparency. When you open AirPods next to an iPhone it launches an animation to help you pair them versus other headphones that you have to connect via Settings > Bluetooth

I bought a fake airpods from facebook marketplace. There is no easy way to determine.

Mine launched an animation right after I opened the lid.

Just bring your Apple iPhone and pair it right there without leaving the store if you can, it will take less than a few minute. If the AirPod is tied to someone else's account, return it, if it is fake, return it. Don't take it home and then come back.That extra five minutes to me is worth the $100+ in savings.

AirPods 3 Pro I purchased from Amazon Resale last December were FindMy locked to previous owner. Resetting them didn't work; nothing did. I then contacted Apple support, which opened a case, and proved a new replacement at no cost— left and right earbuds, and charging case, shipped separately — through its express replacement program (temporary credit card hold pending receipt of defective items) within a week of my contacting them. I shipped back the FIndMy locked earbuds and case with packaging and label provided by Apple; Fedex came to my door to pick up. Apple provided confirmation that it received the defective set within a few days. Apple warranty transferred seamlessly to the replacement serial number. I think it's worth a shot, especially if you can get the situation resolved within the return period, as I was able to. Cheers

"here, these are fake" ...how do they know you didn't swap them? That said, I would open them up, inspect and test them right then and there in front of the staff.

$155 for used earbuds is such a poor value that this deal should be used as a test for low IQ.
