I'm less concerned with the texture of the split, more concerned about the weight of minutes in the middle.

Can't really beat a deal like this and most of the customer service issues with this company seem to be solved relatively quickly.

As for the split top comments, I plan on not even using them and doing some custom tops. But for the time being, I don't think it'll be too big of an issue.
