Not a chance. Way too cheap and the fact that there is no marketing on the amazon page about it being made in the US guarantees it isn't. Any product that can advertise its made stateside will do as as often as possible.

Yeah I bought this knife on a previous slick deal, I like it. I read some reviews that were negative but for 20 bucks it's not a bad knife and has a big stamp on it made in China. It is slightly heavier so me personally think it's best uses a meat cleaver, but I do use it to cut onions and other vegetables. With that being said the curved angle on the blade does it make it ideal for vegetable cutting.

Thats what I'm thinking. Looks gimmicky af. Maybe you just want a cool camping knife then I can see this being fun, but if you're looking for a chef's knife, stay way.

With how cheap actually good knives have gotten, there is 0 compelling reason to buy this if you actually need a chef's knife.
Here's a Chef knife with a genuine damascus layers over a VG10 core for $20. Stuff that used to be $150-200 easily is now cheaper than a trip to Chipotle.

"Way too cheap"

Why does that preclude it being made in the US?

This is what I wrote on the last deal:

Yep, got this last time. It's useless.

When I first looked at it I thought it would be awkward to use, but I let myself by swayed by the reviews.

It's almost as though they looked at a cleaver and said, "How can we make something that is as big and as unwieldy as this, but not actually have any of the benefits?"

This looks cool. But I already have a fibrox 8 inch and a no name paring knife. Is this worth getting?

I've been looking at this for some time. This is a good price for a cheapo cleaver. I plan to show it to all my neighbors. Late at night. While they're asleep.

Umm, I mean to chop up chickens. After they're dead.
