From reading the review I'll need extension cords and it doesn't have a built-in timer. But that's okay because this is cheap and I'll run it to a smart switch to control it

If you need 200W, they are $36.99 for a 2-pack, choose from sun-like or full spectrum.

Yes you can set the timer for how long for it to turn off. But you need to physically turn it on everyday

That's only 30 watt lights. You have to be very careful with these lights as sometimes they advertise the "equivalancy" as the actual wattage. For example the ones in the OP are equivalent of 360watt lights. Always go by the actual power draw.

Except you're wrong. Straight from the description (and also how most of the sort of products work): "If you choose 4 hours timing, the light will turn off after 4 hours and continue to work at the same time as this schedule everyday."

These sorts of cheap things without physical switches don't work typically with smart plugs. Once the power is cut, you need to manually turn it back on via its remote. There's no "return to previous state". That said, it does have a timer function as others have noted.

LOL down voter. I have enough of these to know this is how they work. If you have something factual to contribute please do, but otherwise you do you and have a pleasant weekend.

If anyone finds a deal on something like this that is more smart switch friendly I would love to know about it. My plants have 2x clamp lights (physical switch, always left on) with grow light bulbs in them and I have one more lamp but that one is an amazon growlite special and it has to be turned on every day. Glad this works for some tho, thanks OP

Yes, but does it turn back on next day on its own?
