Following this game for a while already, still waiting for it to hit the $15 spot before I pull the plug. I used to play a lot, but now I am a casual gamer with a large backlog.

40yr old gamer here, this game is like the perfect game i wanted to play as a boy, its just sooo good I got towards the end (still have hours left) and quit. why? it's too much game and too awesome, weird how that sounds but it's overwhelmingly good. I picked up skyrim remaster as i never played it and that too is huge. This game is well worth the $60 i payed or whatever and is probably the best game ever made until they make something better, aside from Chrono Trigger of course. I also never played any dark souls games before and am not a fan of fail 50 times to learn the move set of the boss cheap gameplay but I still enjoy it.

$20 has been everyday price for this game on woot for last couple of months. And Woot has been running a 20% off sale at least once a month: I bought Elden Ring Nightreign around 30Jan and last sale was on 26Feb making this $16.

I got this for above mentioned price last month after platinuming Nightreign and am in love with the game once you understand the mechanics and slower pace.

Nightreign is very fast paced and fun but gets boring after a while due to limited content/no updates. Elden Ring is huge comparingly! Definitely worth this price. Now that I am hooked to this game, wishing I bought the Shadow of Erdtree version with DLC included!

Same. I stopped playing after I beat Melania because she felt like the final boss to me. I just started Stellar Blade so I might continue Elden Ring after.

I have a noob question.
I dont have any type of PS5.
If I buy this game and a digital version of PS5, do I get a code in this game, so I just add it/download it into PS5 and everything is good to go? OR that's not how it works?

No, I don't believe buying the disc game will transfer over so you can use the digital version (though, by rights, it should). This is the reason I specifically wanted the disc version of the PS5 because the discs go on sale all the time and often much lower than even the lowest digital prices, even when those go on sale. I think Sony actually got in trouble for that recently actually.

The other benefit of discs is your can lend them out of sell them to recoup some of your investment if your want... And, ideally, you never have to worry about the game being pulled from the digital collection and not having access to something you paid for... Even many years later (though we don't know if even discs may be blocked needing online activation and such sometimes).

Thank you for the info. This is something that I didn't know.
