DO NOT BUY - Get the new Anycubic Kobra X instead. I have 4x 3D printers and 2 of them are AD5Xs which haven't worked in a month. My Elegoo and Anykubic models are happily chugging along.

Same here. Bought this ad5x during Christmas sales. Started to use only in Jan. It's a headache. Firstly one of extruder slots stopped feeding filament. It is also shaking and loud as hell. Knocking sound on z-hop. And finally hotend died. Contacted support, and they said that only 90 days warranty on hotend. After my arguments on working hours, which are less than 200, they promised to send it, but I'm still waiting. Contacted them around 3 weeks ago and 2 weeks ago they said that they will send it and provide tracking. On my emails just answering that logistics department will provide tracking and ship it soon. Printer stays almost month waiting. I could buy it myself, but I have other printers too. Very disappointed.
Had my ad5x since around dec. Really happy with it. But then again I had been using an Ender 3 since around 2017 so anything from that was a huge upgrade. 3d printing has changed a LOT. I've only had a couple of failed prints with 140 hours so far. I think I paid a similar but I had 18% cb which really helped
Steer clear of the AD5X. I had issues making warranty claims and issues returning. Had to buy a replacement part and do a semi involved repair. It works great now and I can throw all sorts of stupid crap at it, but I tried and wanted to return it. They sold a bunch of these over Christmas and they all had bad heaters in em. 39 bucks and she's good to go, but this has been a shameful customer experience.
It's a good printer after I replaced the heater, but I don't trust flashforge and will replace this at some point soon.

This thing is the hands down the best printer for the money I have almost 300 hr print time and have had 0 issues and print quality is amazing. I dont use the multicolor but at least I can just store 4 roles on it. Im on the ad5x fb group and can def tell you the problems are very very rare. only reason why im commenting because i seen some comments about issues with it.

I'm brand new to 3D printing. All the add on accessories are50% off. Any suggestions? Also, warranty?

Same experience for me. Felt like I needed to comment to counteract the negative ones. Communicating to the printer to send prints from Orca Slicer is sometimes a pain but a restart of the slicer always fixes it.

I would suggest just getting the base model for $299 (might go back down to $279 again?) and purchasing filament from one of the many deals here on SD (there are also plenty of fine deals on Amazon at any given time). That will be all you need for quite a while.

Thank you for your time and help. I was more specifically looking at the one the guy here linked. The Any Kobra XDO NOT BUY - Get the new Anycubic Kobra X instead. I liked mine until it stopped working a month or so later and I waited from parts from Flashforge. It never really ran right again so I trashed it. At least it lasted long enough to print out the enclosure so it looked cool. Replaced it with a different one and going strong. This was supposed to be the upgrade from a old elegoo bedslinger that was modded that had been running strong for years. Odd since I have an old Flashforge resin printer that I couldn't seem to kill. I got V1 design...maybe V2 extruder is better?
