After having a french door air-fryer (i know this is a normal door) all I can say is, go with a basket air fryer, these are a pain and a half to clean and don't crisp food as good as the basket ones.

Thought this was just my experience but I swear food comes out better from my $30 pos basic than my French door cuisinart

Funny you guys say that because I just got a coffee pot looking air fryer because these toaster oven air dryers just are good at air frying. They do everything else great though.

I thought that I really loved the clear glass door so I could see the food, but I hear reports all the time that the food is crispier with the basket type cookers. There's even some baskets with a clear window now.

Agree but also -- buy them from Costco cause the baskets eventually rust after a year or two (unless you're incredibly diligent about drying every crevice after each wash) so you'll need to return and rebuy on a regular basis

They all use nonstick coating anyway so I budget to replace my air fryer on a regular basis. I suppose we can use air fryer liners
