I've had good luck with the version that clips to the vents of the car. While I don't use my phone that much during my 8/10 hour work day, my phone (iPhone 15 pro max), it's often fully charged after my 1 hour 15 minute commute. I paid around the same price. I'm happy with it overall.

What a generic statement. Charging speed depends on your phone.

I have several of their products and love all of them. I have one like this that I put on my bathroom mirror. Have several chargers and mag phone holders. You won't be disappointed.

I only get 8w on 17 pro max. My charger is 175w with 240w cable.

I tested this charger on a three-hour drive with the GPS running a few days ago on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The battery started at 25% and only reached 34% by the time I arrived, a gain of just 9% over three hours. In contrast, a wired charger would have easily hit 100% in that time.

and your phone case, magsafe ring location, cable, and charger. There's a lot of variables with this setup. and at best, it gets hot and loses a ton of efficiency versus plug in. But we try and try again anyway Smilie

Wait a minute your charger claims 175 Watts plugged into your 12 volt car battery? And does it put out that much if you just connect to USB cable? is it this brand making that claim?

Any reason not to get this to use on my nightstand?
Can I have the phone tilted towards me while the cord is on the backside of this or does it not rotate like that?

Yeah all of these products are garbage. But some how it will get 900 thumbs up and have a bunch of low activity accounts saying how it saved their lives.

I have a similar model for my car, just without the charging. The magnet is strong, however, I wish the arm was longer or telescopic, and more maneuverable. I didn't have a lot of flat spots to stick this to in my car, so where I had to put it was a little inconvenient. Not realizing that beforehand was my fault though. Otherwise the product is good.
