The $399 deal is with max value trade in - S25 Ultra before tax.

I currently I have an S24 Ultra. I got $800 value for it. My warranty just ran out on my phone and I abuse the heck out of it - hiking, mountain biking, adventuring, etc. Honestly the upgrade between it and this one isn't insane, but I'm buying to get 2 more years of accidental coverage through Monthly Best Buy Protection (up to 24 months. I have the Total Membership and I recommend it. It's been decent quality so far.

Order from Samsung and use capital one offer buy $600 and get $150 back. It will be $570 + tax - $150 for S26U with S25U trade in. And you will also get $80 Accessories Credit. This is the best deal as of now for 512gb unlocked S26U with trade in.

That's how it usually works. Pre-order deals are better than immediately following the pre-order. They spike up a bit, and then get lower throughout the year, sometimes even lower than the pre-order deal. What am I missing?

I traded my S23Ultra 512GB for an S26 Ultra 512GB. Online Best Buy Order, pick up in store. Paid $1294 - 700 trade = $594. I am on a super grandfathered (Preferred FT with PAU and BTV...IYKYK) T-Mobile plan that does not get phone offers, but makes up for it in a much lower price than any of their current plans (by a large margin). I consider what I got not a spectacular deal but a decent one. A $700 trade-in for a three-year-old phone with a less-than-great battery is not a bad deal, especially considering I got the S26Ultra on launch day without having to hope and wait for a lower price. Did in-store pickup in Delaware so no tax. Bad part was had to do data transfer in-store, trade in had to be completed in the same tranaction. I only transferred my contacts, call log, and SIM, then manually loaded any apps I needed -- better to start fresh anyway -- like moving into a new house, you don't want take every piece of clutter and junk from your old house.

Did anyone who chose pickup actually got their phone? My order is stuck as delayed. They are planning to walk back on the free storage upgrade. They have stock but are not releasing it to anyone who pre-ordered with the free storage upgrade.

Because of Amazon deal, $200 Amazon gift card and $300+trade-in back. The pre-order of White is arriving Monday so today went to the store to pick up the only $30 off case and asking about trade-in S23U sky blue instead of cream. The woman standing at door greeting customers said that can't trade-in different color. I should of ask a salesperson at phone dept., but they were all busy. So, I cancel the order and bought it from the Amazon instead. I know it's only 256GB but trade-in Samsung A16 for $30 plus $300 is okay for me and keeping the S23U for future trade-in or use it as a hotspot phone. Hotspot works way better than Pixel 10.
